Nope. Classes can be joined at any time in the year. Fees are adjusted to account for how many lessons are remaining in the term.

Not normally… our Grade 1 ballet class wouldn’t be brilliantly suited for anyone over the age of 9. Get in touch with our friendly team who’ll be able to find the right class for you.

Classes are unfortunately not run on a drop-in basis, and classes sometimes have a waiting list. Please get in touch to book a place in a class.

Classes are charged on a termly basis. There are 3 terms in a year (Winter, Spring, Summer). There are usually 12 weeks of classes in each term, but it does vary slightly. The prices on our website are based on a 10 week term for simplicity, however, prices are adjusted based on the length of a term. We offer a 10% discount off fees for any student taking 2 classes or more per week.

You can always try your first class without any obligation. We’ll only charge you if you like the class and come back.

We have our own uniform for all classes. We source our uniform at a reasonable price and make sure it’s good quality dancewear. Uniform is not essential for the first few classes – we like to make sure our students are decided on staying before parents make the extra investment. Supermarkets and some sportswear shops sell leotards for younger children, but we recommend parents don’t buy them. These leotards are usually suitable for dress up but not suitable for activity. From PrePrimary onwards, students are entered into exams (optional) with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). The RAD has strict standards in place for what is considered suitable exam wear.

Most of our adults prefer to wear standard gym wear to our classes, usually leggings and a top. Some adults like to look the part and wear ballet tights and leotard. We don’t really mind what our adults wear, as long as they feel comfortable and confident, and can move safely and freely.

We stock Ballet shoes in adult sizes at reasonable prices. Ballet shoes are also pretty easy to find via online shops. Canvas split sole ballet shoes work best on our specialised dance floor surface.

Our studio is on Pottinger Street, Cullybackey. We’re easy to find, just follow the signs for Cullybackey College. Parking is available behind Buick Memorial Primary School or opposite the Presbyterian Church on the main road. We request, for the convenience of residents, that customers refrain from parking on Pottinger Street.
Although our dance school is in Cullybackey, we don’t just serve dancers from the Ballymena area. Dancers travel to our classes from all over County Antrim and further afield.
